Yesterday, I was sms-ing with steph and suggesting on a meet up after work. but she had an appointment already. Ha!
Soon she called. I called back. and she was asked if my office is at Jalan Besar. and she's here! Steph happened to be here as she was gg over to her client's place. And that's hw we meet up. Decided to meet up for a chat and ended up spending the day till late as her appointment was changed to the other day. ha!
And.. She waited for me at my office gaurd house in her CHIO Honda Intergra! and it's in RED colour! I was telling her.. it would be great if the one in the car is a guy. ha! We went to look for Yaofu, our secondary school mate. He has a shop over at Bt Timah. Yes, he's so surprised to see us! haha.. He was busy looking at his lappy when we approached him. and I talked to him like a customer. when he turned his head up, he was caught by surprise. Ha! anyway, nice seeing him. And glad he's doing well!
Thereafter we decide to had dinner together and went over to clementi.. That's when smth real embarrassing happened! I drove steph's intergra.. haha! Nice experience! ;p
We went the wrong way.. She told mi left yet I said right. and she followed suit. and I realised im heading back home instead of clementi.. Hmmm.. Think that's the 1st time she's correct on the directions of road!
The best part is this... decided to do a u-turn since we went the wrong way... Steph asked me: 'U sure u wanna a u-turn'? and started telling me, her car u-turn must have some 'technique' haha! and Im so STRESS abt it if I could turn it back. She said 'this car needs 2 and half lane... haaa.. and that u turn is a 2lane.... So moved the car forward... And it's my turn. and I realised that my judgement a bit 'sala'! and decided to reverse a bit.. But a BLOODY car was behind us... And No choice. Got to turn......... and..
I'M STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, ALMOST HORIZONTALLY.
Yes.. This is it... The most embarrassing thing happened.... Haa.. The car front is kinda long. Unlike those normal saloon car. and den.. I 'die die' gotta u-turn.. and stuck got there. if i persist to turn n continue, I'll definitely hit the kerb!
So many cars... moving towards us, and NO car wanna stop and let mi reverse la.... haha.. we managed to do it after like 3mins"? and ZOOMMmmmm I went. hah!! and both of us were laughing heartily in the car. :D
We had a walk at the pasar malam over my place here after she went up my place for awhile. and passed her the pressie I bought for her at Taiwan. Glad that u love the gift! Cos it's always a challenge for me to got smth for u.. ;p
U know, it's just so comfortable with this girl. Even though we met more than HALF YEAR later! We talked about everything. And we agreed our next meeting is next week!
I posted my status in Facebook as.. "Angela Tan met her BFF after half a year!" and I wanted to post a pic of us and the latest pic was... actually more den 1 year ago. At our Friend's wedding!
I'll defintely bring my camera out whenever I meet her to capture more memories of us. :)
